Another update from the beach - As you will have seen from Bec's post Michael has made the Canterbury top team. A very proud dad as you can imagine. He had a good debut making 34 runs and opening the bowling from one end, finished day with 2 for 15 off seven overs. Otago is 2 for 96 chasing 468. The are playing at the village green so LaLa dropped over with a coffee for Andrew and caught up on news of Haydens job. All the aussie visitors have gone home, it was a busy 4 days, entertaining to say the least. Evidently Paul Smart has handed in his notice, havn't been to work to get update from Kelly, will keep you posted. Don't know ifwe told you that the expected grandchild is a girl, only 8 weeks to go. Hi - M&A - a good year for the family EH -A - Ernie said you thought Michael had a good chance with the Canty selections - and a granddaughter-to-be- she'll win over her grandad's heart real quick I bet:)
